Your carpet cleaning experience should be pleasant and hassle free. The company should show up on time, and not leave you in limbo waiting. They should do the work promised, without weasel clauses or turning it into high-pressure negotiations.
You should feel comfortable with the person doing the work in your home. They should be uniformed, or at least look presentable. The technician should be polite, profession & know what they are doing.
Large areas of your home become off limits for hours. No one likes to trample over wet carpet, waiting for upholstery to dry. This can be a pain in the posterior region. So why add additional stress to the situation?
As an owner operator it is my priority to make your carpet cleaning, upholstery or tile & grout cleaning experience smooth and easy as possible. The simplest way to do this is communication. Before each cleaning starts, we’ll do a walk through and discuss what needs to be done. Any special areas of concern will be addressed and you’ll be told what results can be expected from the cleaning.
This is an important point and I’m willing to bet other cleaning companies ignore or forget to mention. Some areas of concern might be permanent. For example, some medicines and stomach acids will set a stain.
Things happen – someone spills something, Fido hurls on the carpet, Fluffy yaks up a fur ball. Of course, it must be on the carpet or upholstery. My dog has run from the vinyl floor to the carpet and I couldn’t get to her in time. Couldn’t she have stayed on the vinyl floor? Sometimes it feels like carpets are accident magnets.
Anyhow, back to the point. Some medicines, liquids or even stomach acids will permanently stain carpet, upholstery or even tile & grout. There are times when it will even remove the color.
With my 24+ years of experience I’ll be able to point out any potential issues before the cleaning starts. It may not be good news, but I’m being as upfront as possible. We will be able to discuss options beforehand instead of making excuses afterwards. This saves a lot of grief and aggravation.
After the walk-through, I start a cleaning procedure you’ve probably never experienced before.
First, you will not be expected to do any “pre-work”. You will not be asked to pre-vacuum, sweep or any other prep-work. That’s why you’re hiring me. The “prep-work” is part of the cleaning service.
Special care it taken to get the best results without skipping or even doing unnecessary steps. Sometimes it’s not what you do, but what you don’t do that gets the best results. There are times when too much can produce unwanted or unexpected results.
I have the decades of experience and training to know what can and cannot be done without creating more problems.
It makes sense this will take longer, but the results are night & day. You will see why it is well worth the extra time and cost.
Following the steps necessary to get the best results just takes time. There is no way around it. If you want it done right, there are no shortcuts. I would be suspicious of anyone who claims otherwise. They either don’t know what it takes, or are ignoring the correct steps.
Unfortunately, there are times when a spot returns. The first cleaning gets rid of the spot. The carpet looks fantastic, everybody’s thrilled. But, like a bad penny it can turn up in a few days or even weeks later. Just like it never left.
Think about it. Every now and then you need to clean something 2 or more times before it’s gone. It’s no different with carpet, upholstery or tile & grout cleaning. Every once in a while, multiple applications are needed to get it done.
The one thing I don’t want you to do is sit around stewing about the spot. Pick up the phone, text or email me. I will happily return to vanquish the little scoundrel. At no extra charge.
On the surface this looks like an easy question to answer. However, it is not as simple as seems. Several factors need to be considered before determining the frequency of cleaning.
How much is the thing being used? How hard is the thing being used? What’s being spilled on it? How much regular cleaning is being done (Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping…)? Is a member of the family having “accidents” on it (Bad Fluffy, bad Fido or even naughty Polly)?
In general, most manufacturers recommend for light to normal use cleaning carpets every 12-18 months, Upholstery cleaning every 12-24 months and Tile & Gout cleaning every 12-18 months.
My commitment to you is treating your home with respect and producing results we can both be proud to show off.
